2001 David is not on e-mail but can be reached via snail mail he is in the best of health after his long illness and is working on another album along with lots of gigs!!!!

He's appearing at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville on Thursday 30th May. Last week he played Time after Time with Cyndi Lauper at a private function in Nashville. Jan Pulsford also played keyboards. We also heard that he played for Jimmy carter in Georgia last month and then went off to California to play at a dulcimer festival . David has been producing the debut album of the Nashville Dulcimer Quartet. We are looking forward to a release later in the year . . . He's also started preparing for another solo album with Jan Pulsford. Delcimore got into the first round Grammy nominations . . . David Schnaufer and Jan Pulsford played Fearless with Cyndi Lauper at the Nashville Arena show last night ending what was an incredible set by Cyndi and band. The "Brad about you" column in the Tennessean did a short piece about Twilight eyes which Cyndi sang on David's new CD. We are aiming to have it released on June 1st. This eclectic collection of dulcimer music entitled "Delcimore", from the original Appalachian spelling, includes a performance of the Charles Mingus tune "Self portrait in three colors", produced by Nigel Pulsford and an original song by David which features the beautiful vocals of Cyndi Lauper entitled "Twilight Eyes". Steve Seifert is featured on traditional tracks and this album includes the Cicada Sessions, recorded last May when the Cicadas came to visit.
